The Catholic Institute for Deaf People creates of a new world class facility for deaf people, where they can receive every type of support and service that they might require in their lifetime.

The facility is managed by the Deaf Community, and sign language is its first language. A village square is used as a device to orientate people within the development, and is located centrally within the scheme. The square can be accessed from both the Ratoath and Navan Roads, and all users of the institute have to pass through this space on their way to their destination. The landscape is designed to enable clear wayfinding, and can accommodate civic uses. Playing fields and educational facilities are also provided.
