A big congratulations to Conor Levingston graduate technologist in our Dublin office, on receiving the 2024 Technological University Dublin Cygnum Award.
The award is based on academic excellence in a timber construction-related project or dissertation and is open to students from Architectural Technology , Sustainable Timber Technology and Structural Engineering.
Conor won the award based on the content of his 4th Year Dissertation entitled: ‘What can Ireland learn from other countries to build taller with timber? – A comparative study.’ This study compared three countries and how they each have overcome previous building regulation restrictions to build multi-storey residential buildings using mass timber.
