Works are progressing at pace at the final phase of the Eden development in Blackrock, Cork, delivered by Glenveagh Homes.
The masterplan for this project started with the O'Mahony Pike Cork team almost 20 years ago, within the historic grounds of the former Ursuline Convent. Now, across the three remaining blocks, 297 apartments, a childcare facility and residential amenity areas are progressing in line with programme to deliver high quality homes within a considered residential neighbourhood. Constructed in reinforced and precast concrete, the blocks are reflective of the material palettes and textures of past phases, with the brick and render facades now complete on Block 2 and progressing on Blocks 1 and 3. Second fix works are also bringing Block 2 closer to completion, with Block 3 topped out and Block 1 not far behind. These three blocks will complete the masterplan for Eden, providing high quality housing within easy commuting distance of the city centre, amongst a mature parkland setting.
