We’re delighted that Coopers Cross won the Residential: Over €50m Award at the Irish Construction Excellence Awards 2024. The scheme is an excellent example of a residential urban development, with the city block reinforcing edges along Mayor Street, New Wapping Street and Sheriff Street Upper, while also introducing permeability through a series of lanes, both east-west and north-south. These pedestrian routes are threaded together through a sequence of courtyards, gardens and a park, creating a quality public realm for this new residential quarter, which follows the key structuring principles outlined in the North Lotts Grand Canal SDZ. The 43,100m2 scheme achieves LEED & WELL Gold, as well as BREEAM Excellent. Congratulations to all involved.
