The campus at Sandymount, Dublin comprises a 16-classroom primary school and a 1000 pupil post-primary school incorporating the Gandon Villa, a protected structure. The proposed schools are modern in design while respected the forms and materiality of the historic context. High quality materials were chosen to provide a subtle backdrop to the Gandon Villa. The proposed schools feature double height spaces, large full height windows and roof top gardens. The interior of the school is enhanced by glimpses of the historic landscape and architecture.
