Set in the heart of London on the river Thames, the iconic Grade II listed building and surrounding area is due to be brought back to life, following the masterplan set out by Uruguayan architect Rafael Viñoly. 6 architectural firms, including O’Mahony Pike Architects, were invited to enter a design competition for phase one – a narrow site running north-south and lying to the immediate west of the existing power station. Phase one was to be earmarked as a catalyst for the overall project, used to generate a new community and to create a strong platform for the future development phases.

Our proposal provides apartments, a hotel, student accommodation and retail uses within a modular building system.
