Castleforbes is an ambitious urban regeneration project in Dublin’s docklands, located at the junction of Sheriff Street Upper & East Road, adjoining the rail corridor into Dublin Port. The project has a strong co-relation with Marshalls Yard, on the opposite side of the tracks.

The project redefines Sheriff Street, with a hotel at either end of 300 metres of contemporary streetscape.  A rhythm of  tall, dark brick gables, interspersed with lighter infill elements characterises the new street, which is activated at its lower levels by duplexes, live-work units and generous entrance areas.
A large public square is located at the heart of the scheme, animated by a cultural building and a distinctive, red pigmented residential tower, which also terminates the vista on the pedestrian route between Castleforbes and Dublin’s quayside.
