The project forms part of one of the five ‘hubs’ proposed within the North Lotts & Grand Canal Strategic Development Zone. It is centrally positioned between the Spencer Dock, Point Village and Britain Quay hubs while benefiting from a south-facing riverfront position in the heart of the Dublin docklands.

The design proposes two residential blocks centred around two new public spaces,  one on the quays as a threshold to the development, and another as a pocket park at the heart of the scheme.

A new pedestrian bridge is proposed, which will form a vital connection between the north docks and the Britain Quay hub, while the Luas redline runs past the northern end of the City Block 9 site, giving excellent access to the city centre.
