Located on the northern edge of Greystones, the Marina Village creates a new sustainable, seafront precinct, with exemplary community and marine infrastructure, including breakwaters, slipways, a marina, a coastguard station, club facilities, shops, restaurants, a new coastal park and public plaza, along with a vibrant waterside community of apartments and houses.
The site strategy preserves the views towards Bray Head, with the linear layour parallelling the foreshore. The layout embraces traditional urban patterns to create a clear hierarchy of spaces: squares, courts, streets, and lanes are linked together, with buildings that are designed to optimise views over the water for the residents. A continuous pedestrian route creates a coastal walk from the town centre, through the Marina Village and onwards towards North Beach and the Cliff Walk.
