Millenium tower is an elegant 18 storey tower, located at the corner of Charlotte Quay on the Grand Canal Basin, and was the first of a new generation of tall landmark buildings to be located in the docklands area.
The landmark tower is part of a larger mixed use project which contains 242 apartments, 800 square metres of offices and a restaurant. The project provides significant public amenities, including the dockside campshire and jetties, public sculpture and a watergarden.
A mixed development at Ringsend Road and Charlotte Quay, Dublin 4, this waterside site is located at a focal point in the Grand Canal Docks rejuvenation area, an area now entering a phase of major redevelopment.
This project was selected as one of the Irish entries for the Mies Van der Rohe Prize in 1999.
