The project is an exemplary design for a new Department of Psychiatry and Acute Unit for Our Lady Of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda, on behalf of the HSE Dublin North East.

The design combines a Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit and a 37-bed Acute Unit, along with therapy rooms and support spaces. Separate office accommodation for consultants, along with conference and training room facilities were also included within the overall building programme.

The building was procured as part of a design and build framework where O’Mahony Pike Architects led the HSE Technical Advisory team, and administered both the building contract and procurement process.
