The Grange is a landscape driven scheme, comprising five new buildings arranged around a central garden, with strong pedestrian and visual connectivity between Brewery Road, the scheme, and the existing high density development to its south, which creates a permeable network of gardens and routes throughout the wider urban block.

The Grange is a residential scheme, located adjacent to the N11, within Dublin’s traditional suburbs.  The project adjoins an existing high density, mixed-use scheme, and effectively completes the redevelopment of the large urban block at the corner of the Stillorgan Road and Brewery Road.

A strong and varied frontage is provided to Brewery Road, with two gateway buildings and a cluster of mature trees demarcating the entrance to the scheme.  The staggered volumes and stepping of heights along Brewery Road create an interesting elevation, and provide the apartments with a variety of views and orientations.

A brick finish provides a protective hard wearing shell on all the primary façades of the proposed scheme, with rendered façades utilised in the more private areas and in the smaller building elements.  The resident’s amenity building is clad in stone, to denote its special nature and position along the pedestrian spine.
