Marianella is a residential community on former monastery grounds in the Victorian red brick suburb of Rathgar, South Dublin. The centrepiece of the design is a new public park onto Orwell Road, incorporating existing landscape assets of mature trees and enhancing the sylvan character of Rostrevor Park. The scheme comprises 208 apartments, town houses and mews dwellings, and is an excellent example of how we can densify our existing suburbs, provide alternative housing typologies and new social infrastructure, while also protecting and enhancing existing landscape features.
